The warm Caribbean sun beat down on my bare back. I was sitting in my usual banana tree, carving meaningless things with my father's pocket knife. "Another scorcher. Then again, it's the Caribbean," I thought aloud to myself as I added the finishing touches to my carving of a simple palm tree. "Well hello there, Captain Jack Croft."
